About Shared Stories

Shared Stories was started by Aashi Gupta, a student at Mission San Jose High School in Fremont, California. The idea grew out of conversations with my grandparents and a realization that many incredible life stories are never recorded. I wanted to create a way for seniors to share their experiences, preserve important memories, and feel recognized by their community. Since then, Shared Stories has partnered with local senior centers to create books that celebrate the lives and experiences of older adults.
